





DAHYEON EUNICE HWANG
- GINA PARK -
Dahyeon Hwang is an aspiring actress who came from Korea. She is grateful for having the opportunity to play as Gina in Don’t Cry since it was a story she could genuinely relate to. Dahyeon is also known as Eunice and was in the short film called Immigrant Girl as the Girl. She realized her passion for theatre, film, and performance when she moved to Canada in 2006. She is studying Theatre Production in Ryerson University and is enjoying learning about the elements in putting the show together from the scratch. She is fluent in both Korean and English and she enjoys playing piano, drum, and clarinet. Aside from acting and school, she is also interested in fashion, theatre history, music, and films. She wishes people will be able to connect, gain strength, and hold onto their dreams despite their difficulties from both of the films that she was in.
LYDIA LOWE
- MI-KYOUNG PARK -
Lydia Lowe made her acting debut in the 2016 TV show, The Forbidden, Dying for Love II. She started out as a commercial actor and soon went on to play roles in a few different short films including Don’t’ Cry, Fever, and Trapped.
Lydia has received training at Alza Walter Acting studio, The Second City, and Fraser Studios, to name a few. She is also a regular participant in workshops at the “Actors Place”.
In addition to her acting capabilities, Lydia is fluent in Korean and enjoys Latin dance, playing golf, doing yoga, and travelling the world.
PIP DWYER
- JANE -
Pip Dwyer is a Toronto based stage, voice and screen actor. Pip most recently landed a role in the much anticipated film It based on Stephen Kings infamous novel, to be released September 2017.
Pip has enjoyed working with various theatre companies in Toronto: Praxis Theatre Company, Shakespeare-in-the-Rough, Tempest Theatre, Caterwaul Theatre, Play Practice Theatre, Classical Theatre Project, and Soulo Theatre; her favourite theatre roles include Theresa in the Toronto premier of Annie Baker's award winning play Circle Mirror Transformation which Pip also produced; along with various Shakespeare heroines such as: Rosalind (As You Like It), Julia (The Two Gentleman of Verona), and Lady MacBeth (MacBeth).

Pip has also appeared in countless TV commercials over the years. Some other of her film and television credits include Orphan Black, 11/22/63, The Listener, and Mayday.
PAUL RIVERS
- MR. EVANS -
Paul’s acting credits span stage, television, film, and voice-over work. Some of his recent TV credits include Reign, 12 Monkeys, Hemlock Grove, Murdoch Mysteries, Suits, and Transporter: The Series. In the last few years, Paul played leading roles in Edward Albee’s The Goat and Vaclav Havel’s The Memo at Toronto’s Unit 102, as well as appearing in The Baby at the Storefront Theatre and many other productions.
Paul co-founded and served as Artistic Director of two Hamilton-based theatre companies: the Scaffold Theatre Project and the Alchemist Theatre, both of which he has directed for as well.
Paul has an Honours BA in English and Drama from McMaster University and an MFA in Theatre (Directing) from the University of Victoria. He has worked as a director, actor, producer, and dramaturge in regional, fringe, and independent theatres. He has also reviewed new plays and contributed articles for Canadian Theatre Review and served a three-year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in McMaster University’s Theatre and Film Studies programme, where he taught directing and acting courses.
